Modern day Heroes
Long time ago, Philippines was
colonized by other nationalities, like Spaniards, American and Japanese and
becomes a slave of its own nation. So in their time, many heroes were being
known for their contributions to our country like Jose Rizal, Emilio Aguinaldo
and others, but some real heroes in their time are still not being known up to these
days and some who we really adore now were not real heroes.

In our time, there are heroes that
also live with us and give at least a very small contribution but for me it was
a very big one and I consider them as modern day heroes. I consider a teacher
as one of the modern day heroes, not like the heroes in the older times, they
don’t use weapons. Teachers are the key for the better future for us students that
may also give contribution to our nation someday.
